new build

got a SS encore frame and SS barrel coming form MGM in .223 . looking at grips and forearm also . will put a rifle scope on it . I like the p 223 scope from nikon . i have two of these scopes already . one on a rem model 7 and another on a Windham arms ar-15 both .223 .

got tracking ## from GMG and for grip and forearm set .:) barrel will be here tomorrow and the grip on Saturday . I already have everything else . i have a friend who reloads .223 , but i am buying my own reloading equipment . i have dies , bullets , lee's primer loader . next pay day , the press , trimmer . calliper , then the powder scale . deciding on a table .???

yes it does . its on the truck and should be here around 2 pm . the grip/forearm around 4 pm tomorrow. Due to the high fire danger they have closed all target practice on public land , only in the city ranges is allowed . We have had over 30 fires started by shooters , most are using explosive targets in dry grass . common sense is NOT very common any more . stupidity sure is though .

found a used rcbs press for 60.00 hope to get it

You'll probably have some of the finish polished off tonight before you get the grip and fore end tomorrow. If the press isn't all rusty it should do fine for you.

Got the MGM barrel , very very very nice . I was not sure what was going to be on the barrel to mount a forearm , looks like i need hanger bar and will have to modify the forearm . glad i had the bigger hinge pin ( the one i am not sure i can mention ???) just a tad bigger , it fit just right in both the receiver and barrel .slipped right in not taping . no slop or play like my encore M.L HAD . so i guess i will be waiting to shoot it . no cash for the hanger right now . will post a photo later to show what i do have .
