Hi, All
I wanted to ask if anyone here has the S&W460 XVR, with the 12" barrel. I'm looking to add a scope with 32mm front end. And would like to know, if I should get the low ring mounts or the medium ones.

I had that exact set up as my first hunting handgun. Had to use a wheelbarrow for a holster!
I had the medium rings on mine, but only because they were out of the low ones. If they would have had the low ones in stock, I would have tried those. But as it ended up, I had the medium rings, and I was perfectly happy with them.

If the scope will be overhanging the hammer you will want to take that into consideration with rings. I generally lean toward higher rings as a rule to allow sufficient clearance for the thumb.
