Something fun to shoot at!!

I got bored with the water jugs and paper today so I took a bag of balloons and some bottles of chalkline powdered chalk---squirted the chalk into the balloons, blew them up and stapled them to my backboard at 200yrds--makes a great colored dust cloud when you hit them. Did the same thing with water balloons. When I get bored with them I think Ill get some helium and do the same thing with the chalk powder only tie them on a short string and let them blow in the breeze.--Got lots a time on my hands

It does sound fun. I'll have to try it.

I dont know why it is, but shooting at things that break, or blow up on impact is always more fun then seeing little holes...
Little hole are for sighting in and then its something else for fun.
I have boxes and boxes of orange clays that have been somewhat damaged by time/moisture.
They break upon release off my thrower.
But they sure are fun to hang on a board and shoot at with the .22 for the kids, etc.
I plan to hit a few with the 7-08 once I get it sighted in...
Waste not-want not....
...at least until its time to shoot at it. LOL
