just bought my first 44 revolver.

I just got a raging bull 8 3/8 blued 44 mag, mint condition less than 40 rounds fired through it. I have read on other forums that they are poorly made but it looks good and there is very little play in the cylinder. Is there anything else i should look for? Was 200 dollars too much to pay for it? thanks for any replies encorenut

Actually my Brother just bought one recently. His is very nice and he loves it.

From what we could find, the RAGING BULL version gets very good reviews. The standard version they have had some trouble with. Do a search for it on www.greybeardoutdoors.com in the forums. There are several threads about it.

Sound like you got a great deal! I have never fired a Raging Bull, but from what I have read they are good guns. Let us know how it shoots.

Most of trhe used ones I've sen were close to twice the price so it seems you did VERY well!
