Striker mag?

Is there anything one can do the the magazine so that it will accept two .284 sized cartridges. They're only 1/32" larger than the .308 case but it is just enough to bind it up. Perhaps shorten the spring or grind on the follower? I don't want to do anything that will ruin it for the .308 cases so I can switch. Thanks, Rod.

they are making a 6.5x284 rifle now might wana call up talk to a tech see if they are useing a different mag spring

I would try grinding it IF I had another one handy.
