So I accepted a job offer today in Boise for the "firearms department lead" position at the new Cabela's. I graduated from Fresno State on tuesday and landed this new gig today. Its been a busy week to say the least. My wife and I are ecstatic that we are getting out of commie California and into a free state!!! I'm like a kid in a candy store I'm so excited. Anyone make it into the store, find me. I'd love to talk, and I'll hook you up with some $$$ off!!! Idaho here we come!!!!

Congrats Cub! I hope you enjoy the new job. You should be considered a resident in time for next falls hunting season too. I want to get over there some time next year to see the Elmer Keith museum.

Congratulations on your new job. That store is a fine one, and I've enjoyed visiting it. I flew 6.000 miles round trip just to visit the Elmer Keith Museum last year, and it was worth every bit of the aggravation. To be able to visit it when you want...wow! Introduce yourself to John Taffin when he drops in. He's a great guy and now, you're neighbors !

Awesome!! I visit the Hamburg, Pa Cabela's quite often. The Bargain Cave is my favorite place!!! Keep an eye out for deals for us.

Congratulations on the job and getting out of california, I left there almost 30 years ago and have only been back twice and not at all in the last 15 years and I don't miss it at all.
