Merry Christmas

Just wanted to wish you all a Merry Christmas and that I hope you all have a great time and for those that are traveling I pray you have a safe trip. We are getting ready to head up to the Tacoma area in Washington state. Should be a real entertaining trip with all the snow and ice from Portland to Seattle. We'll be back on Saturday.

We have been cooking and cleaning all morning here. This evening we are going to my Mom's candle lighting service at Church. Then over to her house for a big spaghetti dinner with all the family. Eventually a long winters nap just in time for the big day.

Six of my brothers and sisters will be joining us there for a buffet type supper and perhaps a few glasses of Christmas cheer. It's like the calm before the storm here...everything is dead quiet...kids still sleeping, wifey is crashed in bed w/ the dog, I've been up for hours like usual. I'm just waiting to hear footsteps coming from the kids bedrooms then starts the day of opening, eating and taking out all the little freakin' screws that toy makers package eveything with.....
