I have one in 30 Herrett; 12" barrel. It is made like a Swiss watch. The rolling block is so stinking tight, yet so smoothe, and they have a trigger you won't believe. I'm bringing mine to Dan's LR shoot im may for everyone to try. They are pricey new but you wont be disappointed. My rear site and front site moves for elevation so there is a huge range for silouhette shooting. I never scoped it, but to be honest I got mine for $350 bucks from my buddies gun shop on consignment. It was a steal!! The poor guy needed money and I had some!

I've had mine for over a decade...but mine is a falling block action, not a rolling block action.

Outstanding quality, ca. half-moa accuracy - in .25-20 of all things. Great trigger for a non-bolt gun. It will not handle large diameter, high pressure cartridges, but for about anything a Contender can handle it's great.
