Bushnell Backtrack GPS?

Bushnell Backtrack GPS? - 05/20/2009 2:43 AM

Has anyone used one of the Bushnell Backtrack GPS units while out hunting and if yes, what is your opinion of them? I'm after a simple system that can be used in a hurry when I need to leave my vehicle in pursuit of an animal. No fancy buttons or applications needed just need to get from where I end up back to the vehicle.
Any thoughts will be greatly appreciated.

Geo - I bought three last December for Christmas predents for my sons and Me. Like the unit a lot. Small, simple to use and very accurate. Much handier than most of the other handheld units unles you use them all the time. I'd recommend them. Just make sure you carry extra batteries.

I have taught GPS and have used them since the only GPS devices locked on 6 satellites ! The most consumer friendly GPS's are Garmin. Magellan is close. I wouldn't go to a scope company for a gps. Stay with what works...for sure!
