Has anyone used the Barnes XPB in 454 on game?

I searched the archives for this info and found a little here and there but being the passionate folks we are it quickly went off subject! Does anyone have experience with the 250 grain Barnes XPB on game? Any experience with the 44 mag in this regard would also be ok but I own a 454. I've done accuracy and wet newspaper testing and love Barnes in my rifles but haven't handgun hunted with them yet. I am doing a deer/antelope hunt in MT soon and any feedback would be awesome. Also what's the biggest game you've taken with this bullet? Thanks!!

Haven't used the 454 stuff but i have taken whitetails with both the (460) 275 xpb and the (44) 225 xpb. both worked great one shot kills out to about 100 yards with the 460 and a closer 40 yd shot with the 44. I have just reloaded the 460 round using the 200 gr. xpb and am headed to the range tomm weather permitting I've heard good things about the 200 accuracy wise.

Thanks for the info! Did you know the velocity of your 44 mag load? Also where on the deer did you hit and did it pass through?
