I have one that I bought early last fall. Its a 7.5" stainless version. I am shooting 225 gr. Leverevolution in it with good results. Took a small buck with it at about 50 yards this past season. I really like the gun... BG

The 225 Hornady Leverevolution is what I am using(until I load up) also in the dragoon and my SBH. Seem to shoot good. How did it perform on the buck?

It was a complete pass through so no bullet recovery. Took out both lungs. The deer never took a step. I took a buck last year with the same round with my S&W 629. Shot him at the base of the skull and it exited under his eye. Deer didn't move.
