Berger hunting bullets

Anyone been using berger hunting bullets in 7mm , I have a 7 inter rimmed that pushing a 140 nosler about 2175 fps will that be a good deer bullet out around 250 to 300 yds . Will the Berger work for that fps and yds

I'm pretty sure Ernie shoots them.

Some people that use the Bergers will tell you that they work out to amazing yardages that don't seem to go along with "handgun hunting" as most of us know it.

I would not recommend a Berger for that application myself.
Berger's have a minimum impact velocity of 1800 fps.
It is below 1800 fps at 250 yards.
I would rather run a 120 NBT at around 2375. I think it would do a better job for you.

Dfinately the 120 BTs. I shoot them in my 6.5 JDJ and have had some serious damage out to 360 yards on whitetail.

I use Berger's for deer through elk, but the cartridges I use have more horsepower, plus I use them at distance.
