I had mgm machine a brake into my 15" 308 encore barrel. Basicaally just a bunch of holes in end or barrel. I mounted up a 3-9x rifle scope and did some shooting.
Somehow i lost my pachmyar grip when i was using muzzleloader and cant find my fav forend so had to use my backups.
The recoil was def reduce and no worry of scope hitting me....but man the concussion is intense. The first shot pretty much took my breath away. I think you would suffer permanent deafness if shot without ear protection. Gonna take some getting used to but i got kt sighted in for deer season in couple weeks. Recoil tame but that blast wave cause a few flinches till i got the hang of it.
