Shooting sticks/ tripod - 09/21/2015 5:59 PM

I have been wanting to buy a bog pod tripod but I was wondering since I'm a DIY does anybody have any that they made?

Most of the guys in the other forum I use make these:

I'm sure Home Depot has similar things. I use them and for the money they can't be faulted.

Bog-Gear tri-pod with the PSR top will be much easier to use than what is above IMO.

What type of handgun(s) and what kind of distances are you realistically considering?

I just bought a trigger stick tri-pod. It's not the greatest, but beats resting the pistol off my knee and taking a shot like I used to do.

It's not made for a quick shot, but if you still hunt it may be the ticket.

Thanks for replies, Ernie I will be shooting 460 s&w revolver and tc contender. I am wanting to be able to get proficient at 200 yds, which with the contender is no problem... But, I have to admit I was at the local sporting goods store and picked up a set of bog pod tripod today that adjust from 22"-68" which it sounds like some of yall like. Thanks
