Lightly Used Ruger Bisley Blackhawk 45 Colt value? - 12/19/2015 7:31 PM

I have a Ruger Bisley blackhawk that I have carried a couple deer seasons but have not shot an extreme amount. I has a little holster wear on bluing, end of ejector rod housing, front sight and barrel. There are the beginnings of a cylinder ring but the cylinder pin is still tight (as tight as rugers anyway) Grips are in great shape. I guess overall I would give it 90%. I'm debating trading it towards one of the new 454 bisleys and was wondering what a fair trade value would be. I have original factory plastic case and manual if that means anything.

You'd be better served to sell it outright. You will never get proper value trading with a gun shop. Cash value would be around $500, IMO

I worked five years in a gun shop, we usually offer 1/2 value toward a trade.

I picked one up at a gunshow a year or two ago and got the guy down to $425, but $500 is about right if you sell it your self. Good luck.

I agree on $500 being about right.
