I am using a break down shotgun case for my Contender. Works great for range use, and travel. It will hold the gun and barrels. But now I am looking for a hunting soft case. I want something to protect the gun during my rides in golf cart to my stands. While walking I will just carry in hand or use a sling. I will be Handgun only this year. I have rifle rack for rifles and shotguns, but need something for my Contender.

How long is the total package?

Rod, too.

T/C makes one they have it at Midway. I have one and it has a side pocket for extra barrel. Scoped gun and extra barrel.

I think this is the one ButcheN was talking about, and the one I use. It will easily fit up to a 16" barreled pistol.:

This one should be long enough for your rig as well:

I use a soft case which is for tactical guns-these are shorter than most rifle cases and are just perfect for single shots.

Here's an option (http://www.galatiinternational.com/product/SQ22.html) I just bought for my 14" Herrett. It's from Galati, and it's made to fit an MP5. It's perfect for a scoped Contender and has room for extra stuff as well. I have a similar case for an AR, and it's good stuff. Good shooting!

Paul0 has a good recommendation. I have used Ace cases for a number of years. They have a Contender/Encore model with pockets for extra barrels. The price is right too.
