I have found the "pet load" for my .44 mag SBBH!!!! A 300 grain XTP on top of 22 grains of H110, Starline brass, and Federal magnum large pistol primers. I am getting 2-3 MOA, and 1-1.5 @ 50 yards. The neet thing is that on sunday I was smacking clay pigeons @ 150 yards off the bench! I'm happy:) NOT OUT OF THE AIR of course;)

I pity the critter that tests your aim.
Rod, too.
Short cuts often lead to long recoveries.

I've found that the XTP's with a max load of H110 are accurate in every caliber I've tried them in which includes, 357, 44 Mag, 45LC, 454, and the 475 Linebaugh. I'll be trying them in the .500X1.250 and 500X1.400 eventually. I just wished they made them in .510 Cal.
That's a good bullet and good accuracy so I'd say deer look out! However I think we all expect to hear your knocking those pigeons out of the air at your next range session
I won't be wronged. I won't be insulted. I won't be laid a-hand on. I don't do these things to other people, and I require the same from them. John Wayne-The Shootist

I left out one piece of information. I did have a few 3 shot 100 yard groups that were 1-1.5 MOA, but everytime I tell some one that I did, they don't believe me. But that average is alway about 2.5. The crosshairs kinda cover everthing up @ 100 yards.
