Yep. And if by chance he is without, I have a couple of other sources. When in doubt just ask ;-)

I'm surprised, I guess if s4s4u has other ideas you'll have to check them out. The only other idea would be to have a machine shop make them for you but I have no idea what they would charge.

Unfortunatly,Smith and Wesson,Springfield,Ma. is the new owners of T/C, and they will require you to send the barrels and frame to them to have them match up locking lugs for each to make them all work. Are you sure it's the lugs or breech space-head space? Are you getting misfires?

how badly are they busted, are the pieces there where they could be put together to have a full piece? If so any qualified machine shop especially with CNC equipment should be able to make them for you but cost is another issue. I've seen shops charge next to nothing for stuff you'd think would be expensive and vice versa but it dosn't hurt to ask. With the way things are going it may bet to a point with the t/c stuff that some parts may have to fabricated unless an aftermarket source pops up. By the way have you tried EABCO?

Unfortunately it sounds like T/C's lifetme warranty on the Contenders (whether was actually in force or more out of great customer service through the years) is no longer in effect.

ok i got back in touch with T/C Wednesday and talked to managment and told them my honest opinion of how i felt about the situation and they decided they had the locking bolts.. At first they said i could send barrels in and they would fix it I told them i would just send in bad locking bolts then he decided that he could just send them to me plus 3 extra sets. Im glad since i have 7 barrels. Thanks everyone for the help and suggestions.

Excellent, glad you got them to cough them up but they should have done it the first time around.
