Today I was debating on which handgun to get while I was at work. I thought Super Blackhawk Hunter in 44, or snatch the ruger 1911. Finally I told my buddy go put the 1911 under the counter and was set to get it, when all of the sudden this lady walks in. She has been a customer for years and needed to get rid of some guns.
So me and my friend take a look at what she has first was the gun he ended up buying, a rossi lever gun in 454 casull. Next I open up a Ruger hawkeye in 300 win mag topped with a vari x II 4-12x40ao. I said it's very nice but I can't give you what it's worth for I am a broke man with almost empty pockets. She asked what I can give and I tell her and next thing I know she said she would take it. Felt bad but it's all I had and she accepted.
Bad part is I have no new handgun to bring home today, and now I am looking for someone to sell this beast too.
Hey man, you gonna shoot that thang or not?

If you got it at such a good price and it is in decent shape it might be good trade bait for a handgun - possibly from another shop.

I think I am doing both Gregg lol. I am taking the scope off and selling the gun for $500 just to get rid of it, I don't need it. The gun was only shot about 8 times she gave me the box of ammo that was purchased with the gun 4 empty hulls and 4 hulls missing. I searched the gun over and could not find any marks in the wood or on the metal.

Took the gun out today and it actually shoots pretty dang good. i only shot it 3 times but shot way better than expected.
