I am looking to get a heavy barrel (full no taper)for my Encore. I have the rubber factory forearm. Will it expand to fit a heavy barrel? I have seem custom forearms, but does the factory make one. What to use?

No they don't have a factory one. But Bullberry will make ya one. I just went through this process myself. You can certainly get custom ones made from different people. I went with a guy named Tony. His sight is tonysforendsandgrips.net I think. Really nice stuff.

Bullberry will open up a stock forend for ya. It is $60 shipped.

I don't know if Bullberry will make one that doesn't utilize their hanger bar system. You might give Stratton Custom a call.

Also FWIW, you might have your barrel maker drill and tap for both rifle and pistol spacing. It will just give you more options.

Yeah bullberry will do it. I ordered one from them as a backup. Got it in the mail two days ago. Looks real nice. They did a good job!

The factory T/C Encore rubber forearm will fit. Both of these barrels are full bull, no taper and the factory forearm fits perfect.

Nice Picture Randominator!

I have heard of the screw holes coming apart on the Pac’s. How are those factory ones holding up?

Randominator

It looked like the factory would expand to fit a bull. I am going to get a custom forearm that will work for a rifle and handgun barrels. What round is it under the SS barrel gun?

I have had no issues with the factory forearms mounted on full bull barrels and I have more than these two.

The gun on the bottom is chambered in 6mm BR. The top gun is 338 GNR.

Well I'll be a son of a gun!!! The RUBBER factory forend that came with my Pro Hunter pistol frame WILL fit a heavy barrel!

Bullberry told me it wouldn't, so I ordered one from them to the tune of $60. I compared that one to the rubber pistol forend that came with my pistol frame, and what bullberry sent me is a RIFLE forend that has been opened up to fit the heavy barrel!

Oh well... Now I have one for a rifle if I ever need it!

Sorry for the confusion and mis-information on my part!
