I need an extractor spring for Pro Hunter 460 can not find anyone with one in stock
Sometimes it is entirely appropriate to kill a fly with a 12 pound sledgehammer!

OK I have a spring but not exactly sure how it fits looks like it rides on the extractor and the pin limits the travel of the extractor

That sounds about right. I can't remember exactly how the assembly fits together, but I think you'll figure it out if you tinker with it a bit.
