For encore + burris 2-7x scope? my guess would be low maybe medium?

i use medium height rings for the 2x7 or 3x12.

i've used medium on mine and like them fine. some guys use highs so they get to the hammer better, but i don't care for it that high. i don't know if lows will work...guess it depends on the base. i use the redfield base with the burris sig rings and a hammer extension. lows may interfere with hammer . you'll have to check your set up, but i'd go with mediums imho

I like the High rings on my encore. It keeps the scope high enough that you can get to the hanmmer with light gloves on and not hang up on the occular bell. It also gives just enough room between scope and gun that I can slip three of my finger tips under the scope to carry it.

I would have said medium without thinking about the hammer.

Low Burris Z rings will wotk just fine with 32mm ocular bell.
That will give the best scope to barrel relationship for trajectory sake. If the hammer is too close, a hammer extension will solve the problem. I have 'em on all my contender and Encore frames simply becasue it gives more surface to cock the hammer with.

i don't have trouble with the hammer using medium rings.....n i hate a high mounted scope on anything at all
