greetings to all the new members and all the old "pro's"i guess im back now!(minus the 30-06 encore... and the 7mm-08...and the 257 roberts and the 454 casull, and the browning buckmark, not to mention the scopes and other junk one thinks he needs!,yeah the 257 went bye-bye)im down to the 45 lc. blackhawk and the 44 magnum sbh. funny how things work out,my wife and i seperated last november and i was "lost"without her.our divorce would be final the end of this month.on october 2nd,my children sang in a childrens choir at the church my mother-in-law attends.my wife was present(i knew she was there but yet i went for the kids) instead of leaving after the singing, for some reason i stayed and when the preacher started it was like he was talking to me and my wife and no one else.she called me that night at 11:30 crying wanting to know if i heard what she did.we attend church now and you know i really liked my guns, but i love my wife and kids!(oh yeah im moving back home by the end of this month )jim257

Man Jim that is Wonderful!!!!
Isn't it great that God loves you enough to speak to you both, & it's gteat that the two of you are listening to what He has to say.
I'll keep praying for you & the whole family.
I think your post probably helped alot of us check our perspectives.
Thanks.

That is super. Whatever casued the misunderstanding in the first place is worth lots of attention to prevent it from happening again. May be a good idea to involve the man more who spoke to both of you that day. He seems to be tightly wrapped. There are no winners in a divorce, especially not for the kids.

sorry....but i'm jis sittin here thinkin that any woman that doesn't want me to have those few toys........well .......i ain't gonna be too happy with that.......ever. i'd hold a grudge after a while n couldn't live with it eventually.
maybe i'm not fully understanding the post

Jim,
I'm a handgunner and also a minister and it's nice to know that once in a while the words from a minister's mouth and the meditations of their heart are found meaningfull. There are lots of Sundays when ministers wonder if what they said had any meaning to people. You and your family will be remembered in my prayers. Thanks for sharing, that took courage!

thats great news, those of us who have been through a divorce know the pain and I for one would also sacrifice all my material possesions to keep the family together.
God Bless
