I just got some Barnes XPB bullets in today for my .44 SBH. I plan to load work some different loads up tonght and see how they group. I have both the 200 and 225 grain bullets.

Has anyone loaded these bullets before? Better yet has anyone hunted with these Barnes bullets before?

although i've never used the pistol bullets in the normal handgun rounds, i've used them in muzzleloading. in 50 cal. they are the 250 gr. 45 cal bullets. from that use, they work perfectly...textbook expansion on the ones that stay in the deer. about half have exited and not found, but they did the job. one of these days i intend on loading these for my 44, but just haven't got to it yet. very happy with the results i've gotten.

I'll gladly pay you Tuesday for a handgun today.
