two bucks and a javelina in southwest texas!210 grain deep curl all shots pass through at around 90 yards one deer ran about 30 yards the rest didn't,couldn't be happier, can't figure out how to get a photo onto this post.this computer terminology leaves me in the dust,I don't even know what most of it means.

Don't you know you can't kill nothing with a .41? If it don't start with a .50 something it won't work and them bullets will just bounce off. JUST ASK JAMES! Good thing deer and javelina can't read.
VERY WELL DONE!!!!!!!

Love me some 41. You can send me pics and I will post them for you.

It's not the gun, but the man behind it.

BIZZMO, CONGRATS AND WTG. WHAT WAS YOUR LOAD? I HAVE SOME DCHP's TO LOAD UP FOR A S&W 41.
"ADAPT OR DIE". I USE ALL CAPS, NOT BECAUSE I AM YELLING, BUT BECAUSE IT IS AN OLD HABIT FROM MY ARMY DAYS, PLUS IT IS EASIER TO TYPE AND READ.

thanks guys! 45MAN I'm using 23 grains of H110, speer 210 deep curls in a starline case with fed gm 155m primers finishing it off with a lee factory crimp,in my testing I have found the last two items make significant difference in consistency

I second the motion for a Magnum Research BFR in .41 Magnum! I also think the BFR would a Great platform for the Supermag cartridges in their Long cylinder Line. Those cartridges could use some love! Didn't mean to highjack your post, Congrats!

That's a good hunt. I like the deep curls too. The animals always go down quickly and I've never recovered one either.
Hunting up close.

I?m a .41 fan also, but no single actions in that caliber. I have a Taurus Titanium Tracker and an S&W Model 57. I really NEED a Ruger Blackhawk in a .41........

Maybe Ruger will make another run of the SBH in 41 mag. I was lucky enough to get one of the SRH they made last year in 41 and it is a shooter. Hope to bloody it this fall. 🦌 Keith
