What did you expect Bro'!! Any optical sight costing less than $75.00 or so is going to last about one round for every dollar spent. Or less, sometimes MUCH less. Caveat Emptor, (let the buyer get exactly what he paid for). Remember, the sting of poor quality remains long after the joy of a good deal has faded from memory. Good on ya' for buying it at Wal-mart, least you didn't loose your $$$$$$$$.

Thanks for the heads up!!!! I've been suckered by a low price tag, too many times.

I bought a cheap BSA red dot from walmart to try on a compound bow and then found out the mounting bracket for the scope was over $100 (4x the cost of the scope).
I put it on my 870 pump 12 guage for turkey hunting and used it for 2 years without fail.

I suppose I am due -huh.

Thanks,
Shawn

My cousin put one of those on his 44mag S&W and ended up with a nice cut on his forhead when the mount broke and the BSA nailed him.

i've got 2 of them. the first one i bought and put on my izh .22 target pistol about 3 yrs ago. i shoot in a winter league every thurs nite and try to get out once a week to practice. i have a 260 avg and have never had any problems with it. (except when i left it on for a week. wish it had a auto shutoff)
i liked it some much i put one on my izh 53m air pistol. at 25 feet off a rest i can hit a 3/8 dia target all day.
but i must agree i dont think it would last 3 shots on my 44 or shotgun
