It dosen't sound as if it applies to hunting but it does. I finally recieved my X-Mas present. A suppressor for my .22 Contender barrel and Ruger pistol. Even though it is legal for me to shoot in my back yard. I didn't want to alarm and anoy my neighbors with all of the banging away for practice. Now I can bang away any time of the day and no one is bothered by the noise. Its great.

As usual work is busy and the hunting has been slow. In March JD, a couple other guys and I went on a bird hunt. I was the only one with a .410 Contender and did pretty good. I did for the first time in 3 years get to get some turkey hunting in last Sat. I took my .410 Contender as I've been wanting to get a Turkey with that barrel for a while. I'll be working until August when Rege and I are headed for Alaska for Caribou and bear. That's about it on this side. What have you been up to? Is Doc planning on organizing another hunt? I've been self-employed since last November and it's been busy. I'm going to work on Doc when I go up to see him this month and see what we can come up with for a hunt. Hopefully our trails will cross here soon. Please give my regards to Rege.

This will be my third time to Alaska. Twice before I hunted bear out of Wrangle with Alaskan Peak $ Seas ( great hunt both times). This time we're headed to Aniak then flying to the Kufkokwim mountains. I'm starting to get excited about the hunt now, the summer always goes fast and I'll be up there in no time.
