Any update on when the magazine will be out?

Hope soon! The day I ordered it, got verification that payment went through. But if its like the previous ones, its worth the wait.

I ordered mine Sept. 2006 ! You can bet that if I ever get the 2006 magazine, I'll probablly will have second thoughts about 2007 magazine. People should have been kept up to date about the delay. People also should have been offered to have a joice to wait or get there money back.

The magazine WILL be worth it I am sure. I am basing this on the previous issues. I think the issue coming out will probably be a 2006/2007 issue.

I do agree that it would be nice to have a little more communication about a potential date. Either a sticky thread here or an occasional email to those of us who ordered. I ordered 2 copies (one for me and one to surprise my dad with).

Gamhines, 1st off I think you'll find that most here would agree regarding the communication part of things.
At the same time, this is pretty much a "family" thing & most folks look at it as such & cut Gary some slack. The magazine is still a fairly new endeavor to him & I think he'll admit he's in the middle of a steep learning curve.
For some I can see where it's aggravating. You paid for a product with an anticipated delivery date that has come & gone (by a ways). If we are honest, most of us wouldn't tolerate that with most businesses & would be jumping up & down, hollering, & demanding the product now or our money returned, & I can understand that.
I guess my take on it is that since it is "family" I'll wait fairly quietly while my "brother" tries to work the kinks out. The money is "invested", & when the mag gets here it will be worth the wait. In the meantime at least the magazine price won't go up when postage does (always a bright side).

I hope it is worth the wait, I know the past issues were. I think gamhines is just fustrated that it's been about 8 months and he's received nothing. I just ordered my copy back in January.

I know some "family things" wouldn't survive very long if they had delays like this. But since there isn't much written about "handgun hunting" out there most folks just accept it; I know I do, it will be a better product if Gary takes his time.

"Our magazine" is first rate, above all others. I think Gary has been up front about the time frame. I bought the last two issues and they are fantastic, so I know for a fact the next one will be either just as good if not better!

It's like fine wine, the longer it takes the better it is...

Every one here has made a valid point. This does seem like a familt type atmosphere. Gary seems like a nice guy. This magazine is the best handgun magazine around that I've seen. I didn't mean to offend anyone. I probably wouldn't have wrote anything if I could just be updated on the progress of the magazine at times. At least I wouldn't feel like I was just left aside. I am new to handgun hunting and not as experienced or as tight as other members on this site. Again, I apologize if I have offened anyony, especially Gary.

Ican't speak for anyone else, but you surely haven't offended me, & I surely hope you stay & post enough around here to feel comfortable saying & asking just about anything you would around the family supper table (like your earlier question here). Handgun hunting is addictive, & while this isn't the biggest site, I sure feel the people make it the best.
I'm glad you are here.
