Now that I have the scope situation rectified for my 7-08, what would you all recommend for an adequate scope mount. Dual dovetail, weaver, Talley? Just looking for adequate and trouble free. Thanks.

I would go with a weaver type base and Burris Signature Zee Rings

i would use a weaver base and leupold rifleman vertical split rings....and 3 rings for personal preference in "look".

I use the Weaver bases and Leupold Rifleman horizontal split rings. I can afford to pay more, but don't think there are any that better do the job. Aluminum grips tight and wont scar the tube.


Rod, too.

Weaver base it is, I'll have to finalize on the rings. Thanks for the advice guys.
