I just got my second whitetail with a handgun. 7pt last year, but my bow got my buck this year. My little S&W 686 does the trick two deer, and a total of 6 yards of tracking. I do think I'm pushing my luck with the .357,though. The SBH will get the nod next year. Thank you to all that post on this site. I don't post much myself, but I do soak up all the info that you guys have. I'm still quite new to this, and having a ball. Thanks again!

you can always add a encore or contender to the wish list also. practice up plenty......and extend your range a little.

It's also nice to see a fellow bowhunter on here. I moose hunted with my longbow & my handgun this year, but no luck with either. Oh well, spring bear is only 5 months away.
