After about 100 rounds thru my new 22mag, bolt action, with new 2x20 scope... I noticed the scope had creeped back about 3/8". Thought I had the puppy on solid... oh well while waiting to hear from the manufacturer re: possible defect.... I used LocTite and remounted it.

One solution for creep is to buy the "stops" we use on German air rifles. The forward and backward motion of the spring piston air rifles needed something to stop the scope creep on the rails and this solves the problem.I would have this problem on my Browning Buckmark and I put a scopestop on the rail and it stopped. You can buy them from any gun dealer who sells German air rifles or Pyramid Airguns.

The manufacturer of the Chipmonk Scope (Keystone) just told me they are sending me a new scope!
All I did was tell them the scope creeped back after 100 rounds... pretty neat Customer Service! A pain in the ass having to remonunt it, sight it in, etc.... but, hey... if the new one works... I'll be a happy camper! Stay tuned!
