Very easy. Use 296 and a Fed 150 primer.
Hornady 240 gr XTP, 24 gr of 296.
Hornady 300 gr XTP, 20.5 gr of 296.
320 gr LBT WLNGC and Lee 310 gr RNFP, 21.5 gr of 296.
RD 265 gr boolit, 22 gr of 296.
330 gr WLNGC, 21 gr of 296.
These are NOT starting loads but are the most accurate. Most will hold 3/4" at 50 yards or less and all will kill deer right quick.
I don't like the 240 XTP that much, they can stop in a deer but some other makes will penetrate, like the Speer.

around 21.0gr of 2400 with a 240gr xtp is a good one to try.

WOW! I guess you must have tried these. Cool! The Lee 310 sounds interesting, because it's a home town company for me. They are nice people. I have noticed that for some reason no one likes Lee products. I'd like too know why. Thanks for the info!

count me in as "no one" in particular. I have several Lee tools that I use regularly- the hand press in particular is my favorite, because it allows me to move my reloading chores to where ever feels the most "comfortable" place to be. I have dies in green, red and orange boxes, and find the Lee dies to be as reliable as the rest, and usually substantially cheaper at that. Yup. I like Lee

Nothing at all wrong with Lee, they don't screw up any more then anyone else but will fix it right quick.
The RD 265 gr mold was made by Lee and here is how it shoots at 50 and 100 yards. I don't tumble lube them, I use Felix lube.
I was shooting the can at 100 and hit the rail so I aimed higher for the last shot.
I shot my old SBH from sandbags.

The 310 gr has done this also, just not as common because of recoil or something. Us old farts don't see as good either.
I make my own molds, have all kinds of factory molds but I have many, many Lee molds too.
I water drop WW metal and use only Hornady dies for the best, most even case tension.

Most of my reloading gear is Lee-I have been shooting the Lee 310 FN bullet from my .44 and it does pretty good.

The load I used to get started with in my SBH is:

Remingon Factory Brass
Federal Large Pistol Primer
Hornaday 200 Grain XTP
21 Grains Ramshot Enforcer

Recoil for this load is mild for the 44 mag all things considered. The loads chrony'd around 1325 and shot fairly well. This is just a bit over hornadays reccomended starting load for enforcer, but I thought that it performed much better.

As for people not liking LEE. I think the main reason that people dont is the low cost. I know it sounds strange, with almost everyone bitching about the price of ammo and componets, but I've found in the shooting world money spent=percieved accuracy and quality. The good folks at Lee are responsible for getting many handloaders including me started in this wonderful hobby for a very low price considering the cost of other reloading companies. They make a fine product in my mind, and I use many LEE items at my loading bench including the hand press that got me started several years ago. Anyone in my opinion that dosen't like Lee equipment has never used it, or has blamed the equipments failure instead of admitting thier own mistake. but thats just my opinion, might not be yours.

The Hornady book has a listing for the 44 using a 7.5 SBH.

Tobias, you said it very well, a lot of us would have got started reloading a lot later in life if it hadn't been for Lee products. And now that I can afford whatever brand/setup I want,I still go towards Lee.I do have dies from other manufacturers but 85% of my equipment is Lee's,my only presses are Lee's.

The only complaint i have was with my lee powder measure it made a mess with fine powders like 296 and H110 it would leak powder out the sides. I also had a problem running out of adjustment witht their seating die seating long bullets like the keith or BTB 325gr wln. As far as loads go the 240 xtp over 10grs unique is a pleasant accurate load to start with 296 and H110 are great powders but perform better with heavier near max charges.

I had the same problem with the Lee Powder Measure and fine grained powders.

The .44 is great. I have taken deer with all of the loads I listed but ran short of everything before season. I had 14 boolits left, my copy of the LBT at 330 gr. By the time I sighted and shot a few for fun I had 5 left. I killed three deer and have 2 shots left. This was my last one shot at about 98 yards and it was my sixth for the season.

Then my friend came over with his SRH to sight it at 100 yards. He uses the LBT 320 gr and has a nice Loopy scope on it.
He was shooting left and sometimes high so I shot it and had a 3/4" group a little low, right. A few graduations up and left centered me. He still shot left so I watched him. He was not controlling the gun with torque and barrel rise changing. He also was using his whole finger on the trigger, pushing left.
I set up a bottle and centered it at 100 but he was still a little left of my shot. Good enough for deer.
Don't let anyone tell you a Ruger won't shoot. I have had thousands of sub 1" groups at 100 yards as long as I can see what I am shooting at and with many, many Rugers.
All the loads I listed work in every Ruger, BH, SBH, SRH and Hunter.

Ruger's can vary a little with dimensions but it is not enough to worry about.
The BFR revolvers I have worked with, seven at this point, have all been perfect and all shot the same. I have been down to one hole at 50 and 1/2" at 100 yards if I do my part and that is with cast boolits.
But a .44 or .45 will be a custom shop chambering because the BFR's are mostly larger calibers. The guns are larger and handle recoil well.
So for the price, a Ruger is nothing to sneeze at, it will last forever and shoot as good as anything out there. They might not beat a BFR but just what do you really need for deer?
The only Ruger that needs checked is the .45 Colt because some have throats too small but it is an easy fix.

430man,
I will try out those 44 loads you listed. I usually use a 250 BTB WFN in my 44SRH over 23gr.H110.It will shoot through a deer longways and accurate. I killed a couple deer about 50 yards with irons, thats a far poke for me.
I use a SRH 480 mostly now with a 420 BTB WFN over 19gr. Lilgun,Its a good meat load. Kills the deer and dont destroy the meat.
You mentioned you used the BFR's. I have the 480/475 I use my 480 loads in mine most of the time and as you say it is very accurate
Have you discovered some accurate loads for the SRH 480 or the 480/475 BFR?

God Bless President Trump!

430man,I took a target to my gun shop that had a 2 1/2 inch group shot from my SRH .454 Casull,260 gr.sfpt from Mag tech shot at 110 yards 4X tasco world class scope(scope only lasted 2,3 months, now wears an Ultra-dot) all shot from a bench rest and this was straight out of the box ,heavy trigger and all.I took the target in because we had several soooo-called experts that keep saying a Ruger wasn't that accurate-COW-POOOO!!
