I'm sure this has already been asked before but I've got a 15" 460 bbl and debating on two different scopes for it. I've heard some great reviews on the bushnell elite 3200 2-6 but FOV is lacking. I'm leaning towards a 2x or 4x leupold but I was hoping someone has a similar set up. I thought about just using iron sights since I've got some thick cover but I know optics would enhance this. Any suggestions would be great.

A 2x7 T/C recoil proof scope is something you might look at. Weaver or Leupold 2x,Burris 2x7. Have you looked into a red dot sight? If you have considered it look into a Ultra Dot. If you really wanna put down some money get a 2.5x8 Leupold. I have a Leupold 4x on my BFR 454 and my S&W 460 XVR. I can't say anything bad about it. I was thinging about a Busnnell 2x6 but I'm not to sure about the fov myself. If you look in the members articles and go under archived articls list you can find the handgun scope specs. which includes the fov of the scopes.

I have been very happy with Bushnell 3200s and Leupold 2.5-8 scopes. Both are strong scopes that will stand up to heavy recoil.

NC460TC... I have a 2.5-8 Leupold on my SS 15" .460 S&W, have shot it alot and killed alot with this set up and the Leupold is still going strong, nothing wrong with Burris...
