When reloading the 357 Max. for a long (Mike Bellm) chambered TC Contender, should I seat and crimp the bullet in the crimp groove or move the bullet out closer to the rifling with no crimp ? (the Groove is out of the case) I'm looking for the best accuracy. Does anybody have any experience or opinions about this?

I don't have any experience with this cartridge in the Contender, but from what I've read, placing the bullet closer to the rifling supposedly gives better accuracy.I would load some in the normal crimping groove and some closer to the rifling and test for yourself whither it makes any difference-johnw.
