What really rattled me (and why I chuckle a bit to myself about cat woods defense guns/caliber threads) is that it hit me hard in the face. If you are really concerned with cat woods defense, you would probably be better served to buy a football helmet. This might buy you the time to even draw a gun. And I do spend a bit more time watching my backtrail on the ranch these days. I think the only cat defense we really have is statisically low attack numbers. That's about it, imho.
