On Exbal (Correct me if I'm wrong here Steve or anyone else) the 44mag BP is for the 2-7. I set the BP for 7x and a elev. at 5000 with a temp of 50 degrees.
Put in your MV and got the BC off Exbal (Sierra's, Nosler's, and Hornady's BC's are typically right on where Speer's tends to be exagerated). With a 200 yard zero and 2.4 inches high @ 100 yds your first BP is at 265 yards, 2nd BP=377 yds and 3rd BC=476 yds.
I put this info on a small piece of paper and tape it to the outside of my ocular tube (or on your forend). I put it this way:

BP yds 10mph
#1 265 6
#2 375 13
#3 475 22
This gives me a ready reference for field use. you may want to also write or memorize the basic back to brisket measurement of an antelope and chest to hindquarter measurement. This will help you in using both your BP reticle and working on your wind doping.
Hope I didn't bore you--Good luck again!
