WOW that was a lot of info!!! Thanks! That brings up another question. If I put in a #20 or #22 spring, will it still cycle "normal" loads for range shooting and also self defense type stuff? Also, what is the buffer you mentioned with the heavier springs?

Man, after reading that post, ya got me excited about hunting with the 1911. This sounds funny to even think this in my brain, but the 1911 might become my primary this year, and the 460 my backup!!! HAHA!!!
