Hey guys, just got the product release email from Ruger, a Single Nine firing .22 mag.
Figured it would make for some interesting posts to see what your thoughts are.
The God who gave us such a beautiful land, wonderful game, and the sport of hunting is worth knowing.

Ya, saw that yesterday myself. Hey Rod, do you think they used the correct diameter bore when they built these? I like it, would be a great plinking gun or trail gun.

I would think that because it is not a convertible it would have the proper bore. Some provisions for a scope would have been nice, IMO.
Rod, too.
Short cuts often lead to long recoveries.

Maybe the .22 mag will now get the popularity it deserves. Great for prairie dogs at 100 yards or less.

that outta really sell,.22 mag is such a great cartidge for varmints,under a hundred yards of course-john

I am tempted to sell my Ruger SS Convertable to obtain one. I like the idea of the nine shot capability. The 22 WRM is a wonderful round.
As stated before I will concur that there should have been some kind of provision for an optic.
