I've got an issue with zeroing my Simmons Prohunter. It's mounted on a Ruger 44 Magnm with the Weignad Mount. I got this whole thing on a trade, so I do not know the history.

I bore scoped it with my laser bore sight tool, and took it to the range. It seemed fine, after a slight Adjustment to the left. All of the sudden. I had to move it more and more to the left to bring the POI back to the POA. The wind age is all the way to the left now. I figured it was my shooting, not likely, but possible, so I took it home, and put the Bore sight tool in. The reticule is centered as I would expect.

I've had a few rifle scopes blow up in my big guns...but I've never seen one go to hell in this way. It doesn't seem to be enough recoil to blow a scope, bu who knows? 44 mag is certainly no 338 Lapua.

Has anyone else ever had a pisto scope go out like this?

Thanks
T
