You are going to be hardpressed to find any red dot that will give you rabbit heads at 75 yards. The dots are generally just too big. If you do decide to go this way, your best bet is to make sure you pick one where you can dial the intensity. Some folks think the Leupold with the large delta is actually better for precision, using the tip of the delta. I only had that version for a short while, so I cannot say yea or nay to that. You can find a few red dots that have a larger aiming circle for speed, and a smaller center dot for precision. For 75 yards, you are really going to want a dot that is more like 2moa (or smaller ;^) )

I prefer a scope on my Ruger MKII Competition. With the lack of recoil, you really do have a lot of choices, as you do not have to pay for recoil resistence. Pick a brand that has clear glass, and the magnification range you need.
