Not familiar with that red dot. With the 22, you can take a chance on pretty much anything as the recoil will probably not kill it. But, if you spend a tad more to a bunch more, you can do a dot that would also be compatible with your big kickers. If you make sure everything is picatinny or weaver compatable you can switch back and forth. These small dots usually only need one slot, so it is easier to go weaver or pic. If you go to a dot with two rings, then you need to pay attention to pic. v. weaver. same with a scope.

I would heartily suggest perhaps ditching the Ruger ring system in favor of a weaver or pic. rail if you think there is any chance you might want to swap stuff between guns or even rifles. You can do this with red dots.
