I'd also keep in mind a nice custom Ruger, the actions when done right are every bit as tight as the FA but smoother.
That would be my recommendation for that money outlay as well. Or, you can pick up a new BFR for about $800.00 -- just sayin'! That said, you can find a nice used FA for about $1,200.00 or so.
