i agree....that is a beautiful setup
but........
there comes a point when getting a brake is just the smart thing to do.
the pach rubber grip MAY make enough difference for you, but when i shot only 10 180gr factory rounds thru the 16.5" 300 win mag(factory heavy rifle barrel cut down), it turned my thumb/palm area black n blue(bruised). it put me totally out of commission from shooting for a couple weeks. it had a factory walnut grip at the time. maybe you will be better off....but....
hey....it's your hand. if you ever loose usage of it....you may learn to appreciate it.
after a brake was added, it was a tame pussy cat.
