I hope to go to the eastern part of the state for mule deer this year. Then back to the wet side for late season blacktail after I fail at muleys.

I'ii stay in state, and put in for multiple special tags Moose,Sheep and Goat.Probably put in for the Muley permit again this year, been having good luck with that.Shot another nice Muley buck this last fall with the 284 win.in a MOA Max. also shot a Muley doe with the FA's 454. I'll also put in for Elk,Antelope and Turkey. This spring i'll be out Bear hunting. Haven't made a decision on what guns yet but probably start with the 475 Lin. with a 400gr. xtp for spring Bear.

Hogs and deer in the Carolinas; Texas - "All Sports Trip" either November or December
May look to western "field trip" for Antelope or perhaps a midwest whitetail hunt if we can nail down the TX schedule

My usuall at home: whitetail, squirrel, turkey, and any other legal targets of opportunity. I can't really "plan" for much more than that due to my job. If opportunity presents itself and finances are available, most any thing is possible.

Hunting will be local whitetail and maybe a Florida hog hunt with my son and daughter. Had plans to go to Texas but canceled them. Almost forgot that the wife and I are celebrating our 25th anniversary. I promised to take her on a big trip somewhere. I don't think I could get away with sneaking my handguns along. I also turn the big 50 this year and have decided to treat myself next year to a Wyoming buffalo hunt. Gregg, I need to give John and sharky a call.

I'm just tickled that I'll be home when fall comes around . September doves , fall and winter waterfowl, winter predators, ...late fall trout and spring stripers. I've got some catching up to do.

Gregg, will do for sure. Trying to decide if I should use the BFR 4570 or the gun Rod is building in 475 linebaugh. I hate having to make such decisions.

Hope to get invited back to Illinois this year for whitetail. I filled in a empty spot at the last minute last year and shot the biggest buck opening morning. Maybe they got over it by now the locals were giving my buddies heck for bringing me along. Plenty of deer in Texas also.

Some fine plans indeed!
I have been snooping around the WY fish and game website as of late to see if there are any non-res opportunities for a person who did not apply for any tags. I will be living in northwestern WY all summer and into fall for work, so I figure why not?
When in Rome right? LOL

I think Aaron has the right idea about going after stripers lol, as for me I excited for spring turkey season and can't wait for this fall to go after deer and predators, should have some private ground to hunt and since its my cousin's place I know he wants some more does taken so I'll be late season hunting with my revolver.
