I managed to get my hands on a Rossi R92 in 454 Casull a couple months back and have been playing with loads for it. Last week one of the local gun shops was selling the 275 XPB Barnes bullets meant for the 460 S&W real cheap so I grabbed a couple of boxes. I know that with my Ruger SRH the overall length of the cartridge would not work with the overall length of the cylinder, but with the longer chamber in the Rossi I figured they might work.

Any one out there ever try something like this, or have any advise. I checked the nose of the bullet and it will not have any impact on the primer of another cartridge when loaded into the tube, so that's one potential problem avoided...

And if all else fails I can run them through my muzzle loader with sabots.
