Ordered mine last Oct. in .45-70, gonna take it to Africa to back up my Encore pistol. So far it's a no-show too. Went straight to Remington with my questions and was told that quality control problems forced the re-design of one part of the rifle. They are rather particular about the guns they put their company name on. They'll start shipping them to the dealers when it's right. When I asked in Jan., they said this Fall. Can't wait to shoot it. Before I ordered it though, I made sure it would stand up to the heaviest load Buffalo Bore Ammunition could stuff into it. They had tested this gun when it still bore the EAA name with no problems with over pressure. Apparently the problem isn't in the lock up system, but in the extractors.
