Typically you do not see the extent of bloodshotting with a straight walled cartridge, as you do with bottlenecks. Usually, a double lunged broadside shot or quartering away heart/lung shot will not cause any bloodshot in edible meat. Through the shoulders will show noticeably more damage. At least this has been my experience .
