Heading to AK in Sept. for a spot and stalk black bear hunt. I'm bringing 2 handguns. My 45colt SBBH and my Glock 29 with extended Lone Wolf barrel and 15 round mag. The Colt will take hunting duties and the glock is just to be at my side ALL the time.

My question is who makes good reasonable heavy for calibur ammo? I want to go 200-220 grains for the 10mm and 330 grains or higher for the Colt.

I have looked at double tap, buffalo bore, and underwood. They all make the bullets I am after, but the prices very.

Buffalo Bore is by FAR the most expensive, followed by double tap and then underwood being the cheapest.

What would you guys go with, and who else am I missing???

I bought some heavy 45s a couple years ago, but can't remember the company. They performed well and were inexpensive.

Thanks in advance!
