Junebug, my unsurity ( is that a word ?) about the grips was not the looks, but the feel in my hand. The spacing of the finger grooves seemed a little close for me. I'm 6'10" tall and my hands are substantially larger than most. I'll try to post pics of the gun in my hand so you can see what I mean.
I was looking at the Hogue wood grips so it would be prettier and still fill my hand.
