I'm a traditional archer also. Being able to use a handgun or muzzleloader for anything farther than 30 yards seems like long range to me. I remember the first year I hunted with a muzzleloader after years of backpack hunting the same area with a longbow. I shot a bull elk at 60 yards and almost felt like it was cheating!


Experience is the best teacher, hunger good sauce.
